Do Seedance credits expire or roll over?

When each type of credit expires

Product	Credits	Expire
Monthly subscription (Basic, Standard, Pro, Max)	5,000–40,000 per month	At the end of each billing month
Annual subscription (Basic, Standard, Pro, Max)	5,000–40,000 per month, issued monthly	At the end of each subscription month
Trial pack ($15, once per account)	3,000	30 days after purchase
Credit packs (Starter, Creator, Professional, Scale)	4,000–38,000	365 days after purchase

Unused credits never roll over. They expire on their own date, and a new purchase does not extend an older batch.

Subscription credits

• Monthly plans add the allowance each time a monthly payment succeeds. Those credits expire at the end of that billing month.
• Annual plans are charged once a year but issue the allowance one month at a time. The yearly total is never issued upfront, and each month's allowance expires at the end of that subscription month.

Credit packs

• One-time packs are valid for 365 days from the date of purchase.
• The $15 trial pack gives 3,000 credits, enough for 3 five-second Seedance 2.5 videos at 720p. It is valid for 30 days and can be bought once per account.
• Each purchase is a separate batch with its own expiry date.

Which credits are used first

Each generation takes the credits that expire soonest. If you have a monthly allowance and a credit pack, the allowance is spent first and the pack credits are kept for later.

Failed generations keep the original date

When a generation fails, its credits go back to the batches they came from and keep those batches' expiry dates. See what happens when a generation fails.

Where to check your dates

Settings → Credits lists every credit batch with its expiry date.
